No. All of our programs are completely free for learners. Our goal is to make learning accessible to everyone in Charlotte County.
We offer two main programs:
Academic Upgrading Program
This program helps learners improve essential skills in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. It prepares learners to write the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) tests, which are recognized as equivalent to a Canadian high school diploma. We offer flexible scheduling with part-time and full-time options. New learners are welcome year-round.
Digital Literacy Program:
This program helps learners build practical computer skills for work and school. Topics include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Classroom,
and typing. It also includes Digital Literacy 101—a beginner-friendly course to help learners become more confident using technology.
Our programs run Monday to Friday during the daytime. We have two learning centres located in St. George and St. Stephen. You can choose the location that works best for you.
Our programs are open to adults aged 18 years or older who want to improve their skills, return to learning, or work toward a high school credential. Whether you’re looking to upgrade for work, further education, or personal goals, we’re here to help.
New learners are welcome to register at any time throughout the year.
You can contact our main office by phone at (506) 755-7713 or email us at info@adultlearningprogram.com to get started.
