County Adult Learning Inc. (CCALI) is a non–profit organization, which was
incorporated in 2008 in order to provide learning opportunities to adults
throughout Charlotte County. CCALI is governed by a Board of Directors
and they oversee the operation. Although we receive our core funding
from the Province of New Brunswick, we depend on community partnerships
(municipalities, community organizations, employers, and individuals) to make
our programs a reality.
Through our academic and digital
literacy classes, adults can learn new skills and build on the foundation
skills they gained in school and in life. Our classes are small (8
learners or less) and teaching is individualized to best meet the learner's
needs. We focus on enhancing reading, writing, math and computer skills to
assist adults in their preparation to write the GED tests, continue with
further training, and improve their employment opportunities.
other parts of New Brunswick and Canada, Charlotte County has many residents
who miss out on opportunities because of their limited education. Through
our academic and digital literacy classes, adults can learn new skills that
will benefit them, their families, local businesses, and our communities.
We strive to offer our classes throughout Charlotte County (currently available
in St. George and St. Stephen). If you would like to assist in bringing
more learning opportunities to your area, please contact us.
